Planning a full day of flying

Plan your battery rotation around the charge time. With pairs waiting on the station and another on the aircraft, you can charge in sequence while you fly, so a fresh pair can be ready by the time you land.

Run the station from mains power at base, or from a suitable generator or power station in the field. Check that your power source can handle the station’s load before relying on it for a job.

Care and transport

Keep the station dry and out of direct sun while charging, and let hot batteries cool before you load them. Inspect battery contacts for dirt or damage, and secure the batteries before moving the station between sites.
