The DJI Mavic 3E 1 Year Basic Shield bundle pairs the Mavic 3 Enterprise mapping drone with a year of DJI Enterprise Shield Basic protection. It suits surveyors, construction teams and inspectors who need accurate data from a compact aircraft. Order it online today.
Why buy the DJI Mavic 3E 1 Year Basic Shield
Mapping and inspection work depends on clean, consistent data. The Mavic 3E uses a mechanical shutter on its 4/3 CMOS wide camera, which avoids the distortion a rolling shutter can cause when the drone is moving during capture.
For inspection detail, the 56x zoom camera lets you read labels, spot cracks or check fittings from a safe distance. Paired with an RTK module, the aircraft achieves centimetre-level positioning for accurate surveys and repeatable missions.

What the Basic Shield adds
Commercial drones work hard, and downtime costs money. Buying the DJI Mavic 3E 1 Year Basic Shield bundle means a year of DJI’s Enterprise Shield Basic protection plan is in place from day one.
DJI sets the coverage terms, so read the current Enterprise Shield Basic conditions to understand what is included and how claims work. Our team can point you in the right direction if you have questions.
Who it suits
If your work needs heat detection, DJI also makes a thermal version, the Mavic 3T, for firefighting, search and rescue, inspection and night operations. Ask our team which model fits your jobs.
- Surveyors producing maps and models
- Construction teams tracking site progress
- Asset and infrastructure inspectors
- Councils and agencies running repeat missions
- Mining and agriculture operators
Before your first job
Commercial operations in Australia require the right CASA approvals, such as operator accreditation or a certificate depending on the task. Sort your paperwork, plan your mission and practise in a controlled area before flying on a client site.
Frequently asked questions
What is included with the DJI Mavic 3E 1 Year Basic Shield?
This bundle combines the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise aircraft with one year of DJI Enterprise Shield Basic. For the full list of hardware in the box, check the product details or ask our team before ordering.
Is the DJI Mavic 3E 1 Year Basic Shield suitable for mapping?
Yes. The mechanical shutter and RTK support make the Mavic 3E well suited to mapping and surveying, with less distortion when flying capture missions.
Does the DJI Mavic 3E 1 Year Basic Shield include a thermal camera?
No. The Mavic 3E carries wide and zoom cameras. If you need thermal imaging, look at the thermal version of the Mavic 3 Enterprise series instead.
Why does a mechanical shutter matter for mapping?
A mechanical shutter exposes the whole frame at once. When the drone captures images while moving, that avoids the skew a rolling shutter can introduce, giving cleaner maps and more reliable measurements without slowing the mission down.
Can I discuss my project before buying?
Yes. Our team is on live chat to talk through your mapping or inspection needs, then you can order through our secure online checkout.
