The ISOtunes Defy Slim BT earmuff is a slim, Bluetooth-enabled hearing protector for shooters and hunters who want to hear conversation and surroundings without risking their ears. Tactical Sound Control suppresses loud gunshots almost instantly. Order it online here and protect your hearing every time you head to the range.
Why choose the ISOtunes Defy Slim BT earmuff
Passive earmuffs block everything, so you end up lifting a cup to hear range commands or a mate’s advice. Tactical Sound Control uses omni-directional microphones to let safe sounds through, then suppresses harmful gunshot noise in under 2 milliseconds.
Quiet environmental sounds can be amplified up to 8x, which helps hunters pick up movement, footsteps or calls in the bush. You stay aware of your surroundings while your eardrums stay protected.

Tactical Sound Control™ (TSC)
TSC™ is a level-dependent technology that uses omni-directional microphones to block harmful gunshot noise whilst allowing safe sounds to actively pass through the product. Lightning fast digital circuitry suppresses sound in under 2 milliseconds!
Hard-to-notice environmental sounds can be amplified up to 8x, meaning your ear protection keeps you aware of your surroundings whilst protecting your eardrums.
Ultra Slim Design
At just 289g, DEFY Slim weighs 100g less than other leading earmuffs. Enjoy all-day performance and comfort, while aligning your sights with ease.
A shell contoured to fit most gun barrels for a smooth shot and no distractions.
Easy Access Controls
Two easy-to-use control wheels allows you to adjust volume and TSC™ levels on the go.
A single multi-function button allows you to play/pause, answer calls and change tracks easily, eliminating hassle at the range.

Comfort for long sessions
At 289 g, the ISOtunes Defy Slim BT earmuff is light enough to wear all day on the range or in the field. Its slim shell is contoured to fit most gun barrels, so you can bring the stock to your cheek and align your sights without the cup getting in the way.
Simple controls, with Bluetooth
Two control wheels adjust volume and TSC level on the go, and a single multi-function button plays and pauses audio, answers calls and skips tracks. That means fewer reasons to take your hearing protection off between strings.
- Volume wheel for music and calls
- Separate wheel for TSC level
- One button for play, pause, calls and tracks
Who it suits
The ISOtunes Defy Slim BT earmuff is built for anyone who shoots regularly and values both protection and awareness, from club shooters to hunters and instructors. Thick glasses arms or hats can break the seal, so check the fit before you shoot.
Frequently asked questions
How does the ISOtunes Defy Slim BT earmuff block gunshots?
It uses level-dependent Tactical Sound Control. Microphones pass safe sounds through, and when a loud impulse like a gunshot arrives, digital circuitry suppresses it in under 2 milliseconds.
Can I take phone calls with the ISOtunes Defy Slim BT earmuff?
Yes. The multi-function button answers calls and controls music playback over Bluetooth, so you can stay connected without removing your hearing protection at the range.
Will it get in the way of my rifle stock?
The slim shell is contoured to fit most gun barrels, so it should sit clear as you mount the rifle. Try your normal shooting position after fitting it to make sure it’s comfortable.
