Coupled with several different payloads such as waterproof gimbal 4K camera GC-3, waterproof payload release with HD FPV live video PL-2, waterproof payload release with 4K camera and 1axis gimbal PL-3, and the waterproof payload release with low-light camera PL-4. SplashDrone 3+ can be adapted for a wide variety of uses. It is an all-purpose, all-weather, waterproof flying platform.
(1): Amphibious – The Splash drone has been designed and manufactured to fly and land on or off the water, and can operate over land as well.
(2): All weather conditions – As defined in MIL-STD 810 in terms of rain and snow. SplashDrone is designed and manufactured to withstand a wind up to Beaufort Force 4.
Note : Splash Drone 3+ is a basic platform that allows you to pick and choose the additional accessories to match your application. Tough & Waterproof
The SplashDrone 3+ fuselage is made from durable 3mm reinforced ABS to ensure a perfect waterproof seal.
Each drone undergoes at least two pressure tests during production for 100% waterproofness. All parts, both inside and out, are corrosion resistant and designed for use in marine environments.

(1): Waterproof – The Splash drone has been designed and manufactured to be impervious to fresh or salty water, and the effects of rain. Although it can withstand prolonged periods of time, in these conditions, it is not designed to be operated as a submarine.
New access hatch lid with air pressure equalization allows altimeter accuracy without permitting water entry.

The new S3 flight controller is integrated with new sensors and a powerful propulsion system, allows for greater sensitivity and accuracy than ever. This means you can fly SplashDrone 3+ safely and smoothly with more confidence on water, in rain and snow.
The S3 constantly checks for errors and offers redundancy to improve flight stability. The dual-mode GPS locks onto up to 24 satellites from the GPS and GLONASS systems for improved accuracy and speed of positioning.
Quick-Fit Propellers
Redesigned carbon-fibre propellers are light and stiff to efficiently transform the motors’ power into thrust. A new quick-fit design enables fast and secure attachment of the propellers to the motors.
High Thrust Motors
The powerful new motors provide strong performance, speed and lifting capacity. A special coating system ensures maximum resistance to salt water corrosion and power delivery for take-off from water and in heavy rain.
Power and manoeuvrability to fly in winds up to Beaufort Force 4 (18mph/28 km/h) with gusts to Force 6 (31mph/49 km/h).
All in One Remote Controller
The SplashDrone 3+ comes with a custom designed, fully integrated remote controller. Redesigned controls maximize ease-of-use and efficiency, while a fully integrated, high-brightness 5″ FPV screen clearly displays live video and overlaid (OSD) flight data without the need for any additional equipment. Flight control, payload release and camera controls are all at your fingertips.
Cruise Mode
Switch the remote controller into the Cruise mode and you will be able to pan (yaw) and fly the SplashDrone 3+ simultaneously with a single joystick, making your flight path smoother for more cinematic footage.
Smooth+ Control

During flight, if the battery voltage reaches a two predetermined warning levels, the remote controller will display a clear flashing notice for the pilot.
Low Battery Auto-landing

Getting started with your SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle
Take the SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle out on a calm day first, over open sand or water and away from people. Practise take-offs, hovering and landings on water before adding bait. Then try the payload release with a light weight so you can feel how the drone handles under load.
After every salt-water session, rinse the SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle gently with fresh water and dry it before storage. Check the propellers, hatch seal and battery contacts regularly, as small issues are easier to fix at home than on the beach.
Remember that drone fishing with the SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle is still flying. Standard CASA rules apply, including keeping the drone within visual line of sight and staying well clear of people on the beach. A spotter helps you watch the drone while you handle the rod.

Is the SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle fully waterproof?
Yes. The airframe is designed to be impervious to fresh water, salt water and rain, and it floats when it lands. It isn’t a submarine, though, so it shouldn’t be operated underwater. Each drone is pressure tested at least twice during production.
Can the SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle fly autonomous missions?
App-based autonomous flight needs the separate Autonomous Flight Ground Station Radio Module. Without it, you fly manually with the all-in-one remote, which covers flight, payload release and camera control. Ask our team if you’d like to add the module.
How long does the SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle fly on a battery?
Flight time is up to 25 minutes. Payload weight, wind and how hard you fly will reduce that, so plan each bait run with a margin and land with charge to spare, especially when flying back into the wind.
What is Power-Flip on the SplashDrone 3+ PL2 Value Bundle?
If the drone ends up upside down on the water, Power-Flip uses the motors to turn it back over so it can take off again. It’s a valuable safety net when a landing on choppy water doesn’t go to plan.
