Why carry a second SplashDrone 4 battery
On a fishing trip, the best bite rarely lines up with a full battery. A second pack lets you drop a bait, land, swap and go again while the fish are still around. For inspection or filming work, it means finishing the job instead of driving home to recharge.
Swapping is quick thanks to the slide-in design, which is handy on a rocking boat or a windy beach. The built-in indicator shows remaining charge at a glance, so you always know which pack is ready.

Looking after your SplashDrone 4 battery
LiPo packs last longer with a little care. Let a hot battery cool before charging, keep packs out of direct sun on the boat, and avoid flying outside the 5 to 40 degree working range. If you won’t fly for a while, store them at partial charge somewhere cool and dry. Before each trip, check for swelling, cracks or damaged contacts, and wipe away salt spray. A damaged pack should be retired rather than risked over water.
Frequently asked questions
Will this SplashDrone 4 battery fit the SplashDrone 3+?
No. This pack is designed specifically for the SplashDrone 4 and is listed as compatible with that model only. If you fly a SplashDrone 3+, ask our team about the right battery for it.
How many SplashDrone 4 battery packs should I own?
Many pilots find two or three packs cover a typical outing. That gives you time to fly, swap and keep going while one pack cools down. If you fish all day or work on site, more packs reduce downtime.
Can I take a spare SplashDrone 4 battery on a plane?
Each pack is 6600mAh at 14.8V, which works out to roughly 98 Wh. Lithium battery rules differ between airlines, so check with your carrier before travelling and pack spares as they direct.
How is delivery charged?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on where you are, so you’ll see the full cost before paying through our secure checkout. Your battery is then sent straight to you.
